Mum and babies doing well and all very settled. And we had a call from Sheila who is having one of the boys. Poor Sheila has just lost her darling boy Digby who was to be the big brother to one of the little tykes, who will eventually be called Montague and Monty for short.
Alice is reluctant to leave the puppies even to go for a pee! She is being a good mother. As the weather is so hot here right I have not had to have any artificial heat on the puppies, and even with out it they are happy to spread out across the vet bed. Paul described the scene earlier when Alice and all babies were sprawled out asleep as being like 'A scene from a cowboy movie, where they come across a wagon train and the wagons are burnt and there are bodies lying all around' .
Arty, Alices half brother is still wanting to be with her and the babies. He usually loves going out for a walk but for the last two days is refusing to go out and only wants to stay around the house, and will whine at the puppy room door.
